This is a picture of Union Station in DC. It's technically a photo, I got it in 18x24and it will go in a plain black metal frame and hang in our guest bedroom.

These cute prints are for our kitchen since our kitchen is a mix of yellows and beiges. I have two wooden 16x12 frames that are currently white but we'll buy a can of white spray paint to spruce them up a bit and put these guys in them. They'll go nicely in the kitchen and add a pop of color.

This was one of my favorite finds. We have a really large 24x36 silver metal frame that currently houses a photo of the base where Jimmy was stationed at while in Iraq that all his buddies signed just before he came home from his first deployment however the frame is really too tall for the photo and it really needs a custom sized frame for it. So in the meantime we'll put the photo in the back of a closet until we can save up for a custom frame and we'll use that expensive frame for this bad boy which we'll hang in our dining room.

I think it will flow nicely with the abstract work we already have in our living room especially since the floor plan is nice and open room to room. I had to buy a mat for it which was super expensive but I think it was worth it. Let's hope it all comes together nicely.
We also ordered a couple of our wedding photos printed in larger sizes to hang in our bedroom. I ordered one in 18x12 I think to hang in an 24x18 frame which also required the purchase of a mat. I don't remember. Jimmy told me not to go overboard. I don't think I did. I think I spent under $300.
While shopping at www.art.com I found several more pieces I really want to buy. I will have to wait a long time for them, buying art is an investment, our walls aren't going anywhere and we'll have forever to fill them up. Here's a look at what I want to get eventually.
I want to call him Boots. I don't know where he'd go but he'd be a good addition to the family.

And I want to call him Beethoven, obviously. He'd make a nice addition to Zebra and Albert in our living room, especially since Zebra is also a Warhol.

And I contemplated getting this for the guestroom since it has that nautical feel but I really didn't want it to become too themey and too Patriotic.

Jimmy really likes it but I just had to go with Union Station. I really love it. And if we ever turn that room into something other than a guestroom I'd love to hang it elsewhere.
